What's more fun than spending a day with your readers?

Visiting schools is my biggest privilege.

The Aldo Zelnick series illustrator—Kendra Spanjer—and I often visit schools together, giving kids an opportunity to meet an author and an illustrator in one visit. Our presentations typically include:

• an introduction to our book series and characters
• a slide show of drawings from the books
• an explanation of how we create
• lots of pro-reading encouragement
• a drawing demonstration
• and ample time for all those great kid questions!
  
  

We also do small-group writing and illustrating workshops.

Our presentations align with many Common Core State Standards, especially those for Literature and Vocabulary. (Did you know our series highlights vocabulary words?) We're also happy to customize our presentation to meet your unique needs.
